As most of you know I race to win and win only.  Well after two races with the Patternoster 41 team it became evident that it would not happen any time soon.  Two races in, and my car owner refused to listen to any common sense, and is not willing to do what it takes to run up front.  When I first talked about this I was told the car would be capeable of running up front, and that was hardley the case.  We went to Phoenix and car suffered new car blues which was to be expected.  When we did get running it became obvious that the car was way underpowered.  We are now racing on tracks much bigger than the series ran on in the past.  We discussed possible solutions and was told the problem would be corrected for Miami.  Well at Miami, it was worse.  When we returned home I was told a new motor was on they way which turned out to be false.  In fact my car owner thinks I am the problem.  The motor just came back from the dyno and is down almost 130 Horsepower.  Those who know me know I am not going to race, and ride around in 9th place.  After talking with Pat it became obvious that this was never be a good situation.  I would like to Thank Bill Shea and Ferris industries for the support.  I feel bad for them as they were a great sponsor and love racing.  I hope to work with them in the future.  My plans as f now are to race and win this weekend at Oswego, and then work on my house until August when I race the twin 30's.  Even though I am free my car will be at Oswego almost weekly.  Chris Perley will run several races and Mike Barnes will also run a few races.  I will be around and who knows what the future holds.
