| This weekend Greg will be driving his old car that has won numberous races and 3 classics. Chris Perley will be in town to run the Hawk #72. Before everyone asks the obvious question why this arrangement? A deal was struck with Chris to race this car a couple of times when the silvercrown deal was going on. Now that it is over, our plans remain the same. Chris will be in the car July 2nd and for the Mr Supermodified race in two weeks. A bonus this week will be Greg in the Hoffer #22 that is been rebuilt for Bentley Warren. Bentley who has other plans this weekend will be unable to attend and so Greg was asked to run this car. Greg feels like it will be a good opportunity to race against the Hawk cars and see what his old car really had. If all goes well the third Furlong car may be rebuilt to offer Chris a ride in the International Classic. Gerg of course will be back behind the wheel of the Furlong 72 for that race. Look for updates on Sunday and hope to see everyone at the races this weekend. I hope for a Furlong 1-2 finish this week. |
