Hello, everybody, I know its been a while. Just wanted to update everyone about Miami. It was another learning expierence. Speeds on that track approached 170mph averages with the fast cars doing about 183 on the straights. At those speeds the cars are very comfortable if they are handeling right. I was having to wrestle the car in the corners, but could basically drive with my knees down the straights. It was also my first expierence with radial tires and they are quite different. Basically you were unable to adjust stagger, but a pound of air made a big difference in the handleing of the car. We were not the fastest by anymeans but once again came home with a top 10 finish. To date we are not happy with our progress as we are a better team than the results have shown. My next race is back in my supermodified at Oswego Speedway on May 7th. It will be the first ISMA race for the new Hawk chassis, and am looking forward to that. Also there will be a press release regarding a new driver for the 72 coming very soon, maybe even this week. stay tuned. Greg
